My Gingerbread Man Lesson plans for preschool are my all-time favorite! First, kids love the story. Secondly, there are so many crafts and activities to stretch the story and bring it to life! During Gingerbread week, my classroom transforms! To begin with, I put out pocket chart strips and classroom posters. Then, my alphabet wall is taken over by a Gingerbread Alphabet. Last, but not least, there is a Gingerbread Bakery in the dramatic play area. Also, I plug in a gingerbread scented wallflower so my entire room smells like gingerbread cookies!
