Garden Dramatic Play Printables

YOu can make a good Garden Dramatic Play set-up better with great printables! So, I created a bright and fun Spring Garden Dramatic Playset for my TPT store. First, the images contain pictures to bring out Spring vocabulary. Secondly, the signs show Spring activities and ideas for how to play in the center. Last but not least, make sure the printables you make or choose contain both numbers and print!

Garden Dramatic Play Center Ideas

Before setting up our Garden Center, I head to the Dollar Store. There is so much fantastic stuff for Spring, you won’t be disappointed. As a result, you will fill your cart with flowers, watering cans, flower pots, garden gloves, spray bottles, colorful containers, and so much more! With just a few simple props and a few dollars, you’ve got all you need for a perfect Garden Center!

Checking Out at The Garden center

The check stand is one of the most fun parts of our garden center. As I mentioned before, all it takes to make a great garden center is a few simple props and toys. For that reason, it is time to break out the cash register, and shopping baskets or carts. Kids love using the cash register, taking money, and bagging garden supplies. Plus, it is one more place to use numbers, count, and work on fine motor skills. Keep in mind that it is possible to add too many props. So, remember to keep it simple and let kid’s imaginations take the lead!

More Garden Center Ideas

Some final thoughts on setting up your Garden Center…I always use bunting to define my dramatic play area. Because the bunting can be seen across the room, it creates excitement. And, the kids notice right away that there is something fun and new in the room! Also, you can use role tags to help initiate play. Kids can be a gardener, a shopper, a store clerk…and more! Finally, keep your shop well-stocked with garden supplies and the kids will provide the imaginations for fun and learning!
