These Construction Books for Preschool Will Make Your Theme Even Better!
Kids love Construction Trucks and tools, and learning about how things are made. The Construction Theme is always a favorite each year. I have a Construction Lesson Plan full of wonderful Math & Literacy center activities, it also contains lists of the books I use each year to further extend vocabulary and theme knowledge. Plus, they are fun and always hold their attention! Who doesn’t want that?
My All-Time Favorite Construction Books for Preschool
Here’s a short list of my favorite Construction books for Preschool and Pre-K. These are the books I use in my classroom during my Construction Unit. Both Fiction and Nonfiction books are listed. Complete with Amazon links for all of them.
I love this book for helping kids unleash their imaginations and think of what is possible…to think outside the box.

By adding a few of these books to your construction unit, you will open up a whole new understanding of how our world works in a way that meets kids on their level and in a way that they will want to know and learn even more!
